New cable car in Val di Fassa – 2016 – A new cable car for 100 persons was built between Alba (next to Ciampac cablecar station) and Col dei Rossi. If you stay at Alba di Canazei or Penia, you don’t need to go anymore by bus to Canazei to get up to Belvedere – Col Rosella – Passo Pordoi areas or Sella Ronda. The new cable spans 2260 m, elevation difference is 883 m and the rated carrying capacity is 1.120 persons per hour. In Val di Fassa they are now 73 km of cablecars and lifts.[rule type=”basic”]
